Overview

Our fully integrated POWER@Hand handheld system utilizes Pocket Internet Explorer to connect to the live database. The ruggedized (symbol®) wireless Pocket PC has a built-in bar code reader allowing you to minimize the need to enter data manually. The system reads bar code labels, validates them against the server database, and puts that information at your fingertips. In addition, you can use a bar code reader tied to a PC and perform the very same functions on your desktop, laptop, or notebook that has Internet Explorer.

POWER@Hand is currently available for inventory control. Highlights include:

• Ability to issue parts to jobs, work orders, or individuals
• Improved physical inventory functions through immediate updates either through predetermined inventory group counts or spot-check write-ins
• Receiving items into the warehouse in their total or partial quantities
• Automatically print labels on a Zebra® bar code printer
