Resources

IMMPOWER defines resources as any items other than labor and parts. In maintenance, labor and parts are the primary sources of costs. However, maintenance often requires other resources that add costs to the repair process. These costs include the rates for renting special equipment resources and the costs of replacing expensive tool resources that become misplaced.

You can use the Resources module to monitor costs by managing resource availability requirements and by making employees accountable for the resources you issue to them.

Resources Features
Resources features and functions include:

• Drag-and-drop functionality
• Identify resources such as tools, equipment locations, equipment, and contract resources
• Manage resource availability and backlogs
• Allocate resources to employees and work orders
• Compare actual vs. requested resource usage
• Resource notifications to planners and work orders
• Review resource records through standard, customizable inquiry screens
• Export resource data to Microsoft® Excel
• Print resource review records
