Reliability

One of the main purposes for collecting data about equipment is to perform statistical analysis on the reliability of the equipment. Equipment reliability is the major determinant of equipment availability. You can categorize the concept of reliability by statistical probability, engineering analysis, and reliability analysis.

With the Reliability module, you can identify equipment for reliability tracking and maintain a history of problems for equipment. This history includes the symptoms, root causes, corrective actions, and failure codes for each work request. You can access these records from either the Reliability or Work Order Management module.

Reliability Features
Reliability features and functions include:

• Drag-and-drop functionality
• User-definable symptom, root cause, and corrective action coding
• Implement a reliability-centered maintenance program by “registering” the applicable pieces of equipment
• Analyze symptom, cause, and failure results
• Measure quality of workmanship and repair procedures by compliance with equipment condition ratings
• Properly code at work request and work completion for the symptom, contributing cause, root cause, failure and corrective action
• Review reliability tracking records through standard, customizable inquiry screens
• Export reliability data to Microsoft® Excel
• Print reliability review records
